This workshop will explain how wills and trusts work and will discuss the various substitutes to wills, such as joint tenancy, living trusts, etc. Other estate planning documents, such as powers of attorney, will also be discussed, and Estate tax planning will be lightly covered. The audience will be encouraged to ask questions.

Hal has specialized in estate planning and estate administration for the past 24 years. He has an advanced law degree in taxation from New York University Law School and is a Certified Tax Specialist (California Board of Legal Specialization). He and his wife Margaret attend First Presbyterian church and have two sons.
